Your nonprofit has a great mission, but is it risking its funding and goodwill through incomplete compliance?  Learn the legal basics and what’s changing in nonprofit law and corporate governance, to better lead your agency to follow the law and manage risk.  This workshop will address highlights and recent changes in employment law, fundraising, e-commerce rules, and privacy, and you’ll go home with a checklist for good nonprofit housekeeping.

Nancy Eberhardt

Nancy Eberhardt is the Executive Director of Pro Bono Partnership, a nonprofit committed to providing business and transactional legal services to nonprofit organizations serving the disadvantaged or enhancing the quality of life in neighborhoods in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  Nancy leads the staff and is involved in all aspects of the legal program, and speaks regularly on legal and governance issues impacting nonprofits.

Prior to her Executive Director appointment, Nancy was the Director of the Pro Bono Partnership’s New Jersey Program for 12 years. Before that, Nancy was in private practice with a focus on environmental law.   Nancy serves on the Pro Bono Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She has served on the boards of many New Jersey nonprofits.

Nancy is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, and is a graduate of The College of William and Mary and of Rutgers School of Law — Newark.
