Volunteer with Princeton Community Works!  Have Fun! Be Amazing!

PCW is planned and run entirely by volunteers! We would love to have your ideas, input and energy included in the process. Below we outline all of the areas where you could contribute.

WANT TO JOIN THE PCW PLANNING TEAM?

There are many opportunities to volunteer: Join US!

Here are the many ways you contribute to Princeton Community Works:

Join the Engage and Connect Team

  • Create activities for the Engage & Connect sessions
  • Recruit E&C facilitators for breakout rooms
  • Train E&C facilitators on activities

Join the Internal Communications Team

  • Send out planning committee meeting notices, notes and minutes

Join the External Communications Team

  • Drive potential attendees to registration site
  • Create and publish all social media assets (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
  • Draft and distribute press release to media list
  • Post to community calendars, Facebook and neighborhood groups
  • Manage video creation for use in outreach
  • Use email marketing to reach potential attendees; manage external lists

Join the Speakers Team

  • Work with PCW Chair and Planning Committee to finalize workshop offerings and determine workshop titles
  • Manage communications with the Speakers
  • Edit workshop descriptions submitted by the Speakers
  • Collect and edit resumes/bios submitted by the Speakers

Join the Introducers Team

  • Recruit & train introducers
  • Coordinate with Speakersto create a “workshop team” ( Speaker& Introducer)
  • Prepare Thank You Notes for speakers

Join The Registration Team

  • Assist registrants with finding their classrooms on the day of the conference
  • Hand out badges to registrants

Develop an Evaluation Form

  • We endeavor to get feedback from our ALL participants tso we can continually improve.
  • Develop a brief survey that can be sent to all particiants so we can measure their impressions of the 2025 PCW conference
