Social Media for Beginners: Finding Your Audience

Facebook, Instrgram, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Twitter, Pinterest – all of these platforms and options can feel overwhelming sometimes, especially for smaller nonprofits. Using social media does not have to be labor intensive though, and it is a crucial tool for promoting your organization’s mission and finding your audience. The key is to use the platforms that are the most effective for your nonprofit. In this workshop we will discuss what types of social media work best for different situations. We will also cover time-saving tools and tricks. Note: This is a beginner-level course, but we will not cover how to set up individual social media accounts.
