Go from Good to Great: Building and Maintaining an Effective Board

Many organizations have a solid board that works well together and accomplishes the necessary work of the organization. This workshop will move organizations from good to great by teaching new ways to approach the work of both the board and the professional staff in creating a meaningful, flexible and strategic board engagement that provides the leadership for today’s not for profit.

Linda Meisel  

Linda Meisel LCSW is a Principal at LFM Solutions, a not for profit management consulting firm based in Princeton, New Jersey. LFM Solutions specializes in strategic planning, board training, executive coaching and not for profit reorganization. Ms. Meisel was the Executive Director of Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Greater Mercer County for 18 years and prior to that, the Executive Director of Corner House Counseling Center. Ms. Meisel teaches not for profit management classes at the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work and has conducted strategic planning and board education workshops for numerous not for profit agencies. Ms. Meisel has also served on community boards in Princeton and the regional board in New Jersey.
