An effective not-for-profit needs to have a board that conducts it’s board business with strong governance. Strong board governance guides effective not-for-profit organizations. This interactive workshop will identity key elements of board governance including: term limits, board membership, fiduciary over site and the responsibilities of individual board members and officers. You will learn the top 10 important tips for board governance.

Linda Meisel, LCSW

Linda Meisel is currently the Interim Executive Director at the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Mercer. She has served as an Executive Director at Corner House Counseling Center and Jewish Family & Children’s Services. Ms. Meisel has taught not-for-profit management workshops at Princeton Community Works, Mercer County Community College and has presented at national conferences for not-for-profit agencies.
