You’re committed and passionate about your organization’s mission, but in this time of short attention spans, how can you effectively communicate it to others? In this workshop you’ll go beyond a mere “elevator speech” to learn and practice how to put a human face on your organization and connect others to what truly motivates your heart.

Sue Kirkland, Principal, Sue Kirkland Life Consulting LLC

A former teacher, counselor, and community organizer, Sue spent a 30+year career with the American Cancer Society serving at the local, regional and national levels. A gifted teacher and facilitator, Sue has provided seminar sessions for both volunteers and staff throughout the US and for international conferences in Mexico, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and Russia. She has authored articles in two editions of the Organization Development Journal, published by the Organizational Development Institute.
Having “graduated” from the ACS, Sue continues to be active in her community and offers her learning and organizational development expertise to local nonprofit organizations through Sue Kirkland Life Consulting LLC. She leaves time to travel with her husband, a captain for United Airlines. She is a volunteer Trustee for the Lawrence Township Community Foundation, continues to volunteer for the ACS’s Run for Dad event, is a volunteer consultant for the D & R Greenway Trust, and serves on the planning committee for Princeton Community Works.
Taking her lifelong learning in a new direction this summer, Sue earned her Yoga Instructor Certification from Yandara Yoga Institute.
Sue and her husband, Captain Mitch Leibowitz, make their home in Princeton.
