P. The Fundamental Ins and Outs of Grant Writing

Learn the fundamentals of grant writing, with a particular focus on grants from community, family, and private foundations. We will cover rules of thumb for grant research, grant writing, and grant reporting for the novice grant writer.

Amanda Blount MSW, Development and Communications Director, Trinity Counseling Service
Amanda Blount is the director of development and communications for Trinity Counseling Service (TCS), a community outpatient mental health agency. She holds a Bachelors degree from Rutgers University, a Masters degree in Social Work, and an Advanced Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Washington University in St. Louis. Her professional fundraising experience spans corporate philanthropy, private foundations, and more than 10 years of work in the nonprofit sector. In addition to her work at TCS, Amanda is the founder of the New Jersey chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network.
